Introducing Anna Balcombe, Curl Consultant and Founder of a specialist curly hair salon in Essex, here to revolutionise your curls and your relationship with them.
After fifteen years as a hairdresser, Anna was frustrated at the lack of specialist curly hair cutting available in the region. So, in 2022, she travelled to New York to train under the legendary ‘Queen of Curls’, Lorraine Massey – Author of Curly Girl: The Handbook, Founder of DevaChan Salons, Co-founder of DevaCurl products and the Deva Cut, and pioneer of the Curl-by-Curl™ cut technique.
What Anna learnt from Lorraine blew her mind. Based in her salon on the North Essex coast, Anna now offers transformative curly haircuts, and consultancy services, and believes every curl is unique – and that every cut should reflect that.
